The most recent home purchased by the late actor<\/a> Matthew Perry is now on the market. According to Mansion Global<\/a>, this midcentury Hollywood Hills home was listed on Thursday with an asking price of $5.2 million. Perry, best known for his role as Chandler Bing on the iconic sitcom Friends<\/em><\/a>, purchased the house, built in 1957, in May 2023 for $5 million<\/a> in a private deal, just months before his passing at the age of 54 in October.<\/p>\n

This single-story home spans approximately 2,800 square feet and boasts three bedrooms and four bathrooms. The back of the house features walls of glass that open up to a backyard patio with a swimming pool. The front showcases a vintage-style privacy screen that adds charm to the all-white facade.<\/p>\n

The primary suite features a walk-in closet and a serene bathroom with access to the outdoors and a long stone vanity with dual sinks. The house also boasts a contemporary-style eat-in kitchen and a bedroom converted into a projection room. The interiors are tied together with blonde hardwood floors and a neutral color palette. Nearly every room in the house has sliding glass doors that open up to the backyard patio, which includes a poolside fire pit and a covered lounge area.<\/p>\n

The Friends, Lovers, and The Big Terrible Thing<\/em> author previously owned a 9,290-square-foot penthouse<\/a> in the Robert A.M. Stern-designed Century building, which singer Rihanna later acquired<\/a> for $21 million; Rihanna recently put it back on the market<\/a> for $25 million. Perry also owned another residence in the Hollywood Hills<\/a>, as well as homes in Malibu<\/a>, the famous Sierra Towers building<\/a>, and the Pacific Palisades.<\/p>\n

Listing agents Greg Holcomb and Tim Drukovic of Douglas Elliman declined to comment.<\/p>\n
